PANJIM
Set in an old Portuguese heritage house, in one of the bylanes of serene Campal Panjim is the youngest chain of The Fisherman’s Wharf in North Goa. The interiors are aesthetically embellished and is rich in Indo-Portuguese architectural style décor and furniture. This unique dining experience with its quaint settings, replete with the oyster shell windows, the huge brass pots doubling up as fountains, the assorted woven bamboo baskets painted in bright and funky colours, and the open kitchen is a sight to see.
The restaurant has four sections with a spacious seating arrangement; a bar called the Margarita Lounge, an air-conditioned section, non air-conditioned section, and seating on the deck.
The restaurant boasts of an extensive menu with perfectly executed sea food delicacies, must try sea devil or just an array of fish you can take and ask to cook as per your taste. The Fisherman’s Wharf strength lies on the Goan cuisine which includes the local favourites like Pork Vindalho, Crab Xec-Xec, Prawn Balchao, Mushroom Tonak, Chicken Cafreal, Pork Amsol, Rawa Fried Kingfish, Goan Sausage Pulao and the favourite Prawn Curry Rice.
